YRP National Board (January 14, 2025) –– Young Risk Professionals is proud to announce the establishment of its first-ever Advisory Board, a pivotal step in advancing the organization’s mission to connect, educate, and empower the next generation of risk management professionals.

The Advisory Board’s inaugural members, Emily Tumlin (Zurich), Laura Day (Marsh), and Taylor Jones (Questpro), bring a wealth of experience and an unwavering dedication to YRP. Each of these outstanding leaders has served YRP for years through their respective chapters, contributing significantly to the organization’s growth and success.

“Going into 2025, the YRP National Board is launching the very first Advisory Board comprised of prior leaders who made impactful contributions during their time on the Board. We feel this is a necessary step as we embark on growing additional chapters, enhancing existing chapters, and creating an experience within YRP of which our predecessors would be proud,” says Whitney Harris, YRP National Chair. “This Advisory Board, comprised of Laura Day, who served as our prior National Chair; Emily Tumlin, who served as our National Director at Large and Summit Subcommittee Leader; and Taylor Jones, who served as our National Director of Marketing, have helped lay a strong foundation for YRP. We meticulously chose these individuals for their dedication and contributions throughout their tenure with our organization and see them as true assets who will propel us into the future,” Harris said.

The Advisory Board will focus on enhancing organizational effectiveness, creating opportunities for cross-chapter collaboration, and ensuring the long-term success of YRP’s programs and initiatives. Their efforts will help solidify YRP’s position as a leading organization for risk management professionals.
